Pick a picture
Two pages: the worksheet, then the answer key.
How to use the worksheet
1. Choose the operation, fact set, and picture. Print the worksheet and answer key, or save them as a PDF.
2. Solve each expression. Find its answer in the color key and color that enclosed region.
3. Check the completed picture against the answer key. Review any facts that need more practice.
Christmas math practice with a choice of pictures
Set out a choice of the tree, sleigh, gingerbread house, and stockings for a December math center. Select the facts before you print, so the coloring activity reviews a skill the child already understands. The answer key is on its own page; keep it for checking or let children use it after solving the expressions.
A focused multiplication table works well for review before a school break. Select division to practice the related fact family on the same Christmas picture. For younger children, choose addition or subtraction within 10 or 20. Solve first, find the answer in the color key, and then color the enclosed region.
