3 Times Table Color by Number Worksheet

Every region on this picture carries one 3 times table fact. The digits of each answer add up to 3, 6, or 9. Look at 12, 15, 18, 21: 1+2, 1+5, 1+8, 2+1. That is the divisibility rule for 3, met early. A child has to recall the answer before they know which crayon a region takes, so the coloring rewards the retrieval instead of replacing it. 3 × 7 = 21 and 3 × 8 = 24.
